Job Title: Senior / Lead D365 Business Central Consultant – Finance Specialist

Location: Hybrid - London.

My client are a dynamic and growing Microsoft partner with a strong reputation for delivering cutting-edge Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC) solutions to clients across a range of industries. As they continue to expand, we're seeking a seasoned Senior / Lead D365BC Consultant with deep Finance expertise to join their team and lead critical client engagements.

 

Role Overview:

 

In this key role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end D365 Business Central implementations, with a particular focus on Finance modules. You'll work closely with clients to understand their business processes, design tailored solutions, and deliver projects that drive measurable business value. As a Lead Consultant, you’ll also support junior team members, contribute to best practice development, and shape our D365BC delivery capability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of D365 Business Central Finance solutions

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analyses, and develop fit-for-purpose solutions

  • Provide hands-on implementation across key finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Cost Accounting, etc.)

  • Advise clients on best practices and compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements

  • Deliver training and post-implementation support to finance teams

  • Work in cross-functional project teams, providing leadership and technical insight

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and internal knowledge sharing

  • Mentor and support junior consultants as part of a collaborative team environment

 

Skills & Experience Required:

 

  • Proven experience in delivering multiple end-to-end D365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) implementations

  • Strong functional knowledge of finance processes and accounting principles

  • Experience configuring and deploying Finance modules in D365BC

  • Hands-on experience with LS Retail and a solid understanding of its integration with D365BC

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Previous consulting or professional services experience strongly preferred

  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is a plus but not essential

  • Microsoft certifications in D365BC a strong advantage
